libjs-jquery software package provides JavaScript library for dynamic web applications, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-jquery
libjs-jquery is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-jquery package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-jquery *
You will get with libjs-jquery package name, version, architecture and description in a table
